Support Brian M. Miller as a recipient of the "2011 Outstanding Advocates For Children & Youth Award" presented by John J. Byrne Community Center.
Proceeds support the John J. Byrne Community Center of Uniondale's programs and services for the children and families of the region! Brian Miller is Marketing Coordinator at North Coast Financial Group, an office of MetLife. Brian is a 26 year resident of Franklin Square, N.Y., and a graduate of H. Frank Carey High School. He continued his education at Nassau Community College, and finished his college career by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the State University at Albany.
Brian’s career in the financial services industry began as an insurance advisor for a small independent insurance agency on Long Island. He spent seven years in that role working primarily with local police officers, and various civil service employees to better plan for their retirement. In February, 2010, Brian took his industry experience, and marketing techniques to MetLife and joined the North Coast Financial Group’s Marketing Department. Brian’s main responsibilities in this role are to coach and mentor new advisors, promote the North Coast Financial Group brand, and to build mutually beneficial relationships with other local companies and non-profit organizations. Brian and his team at North Coast Financial Group are especially proud of being the recipients of MetLife’s 2010 “Good Business Practices Community Award”, which recognizes firms that combine outstanding sales performance with excellence in ethics, compliance, and business practices. Brian recently served as Co-Chair of the Commercial Industry Brokers Society 2011 Charity Golf Outing with proceeds benefitting the John J. Byrne Community Center of Uniondale as well as Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Long Island. The inaugural ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH AWARDS COCKTAIL RECEPTION took place on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, 6pm to 8pm, at The Omni, 333 Earle Ovington Boulevard, Uniondale.
